The State of Ross

This page is an archive of all of the things I have written about over the years. Currently there isn't much to read as I have been busy with work for the past several years and haven't had much time to devote to this... that and I'm a bit lazy about working on this at home. I have given the latest version of my site a very Soviet bent due to my feelings about the silly close-mindedness that has a tendency to filter up from the politics down south. Unfortunately the filtering is starting to also come from the current government in Ottawa. While the former Soviet Union was more of an oligarchy than a socialist society, the concept of the state looking out for the best interests of its citizens is a rather hopeful thought, not an oppressive one. Society as a whole would be much better if people actually looked out for their neighbours rather than trying to get one up on them.
